  • MasMovil is now worth more than €1.3 billion in market cap
  • Telefonica set free AI automotion startup Drivies. The company also announced a round of €500,000
  • Amazon to start building a logistics centre in Valencia
  • Twitter in Spain in 2016: 25% less staff and 10% increase in sales
  • Rakuten.tv (formerly known as Wuaki) increased sales in 2016 by 36%, while posting a loss of €19 million. The Japanese company also announced that it plans to hire “hundreds” of employees in Barcelona, where it will base its European headquarters
  • Banco Sabadell announced Kelvin Atlas, an open data portal that the bank claims to be the first one in the Spanish banking sector
