  • Cabify has raised $100 million. The company is supposedly raising a much bigger round of $500 million
  • On-demand road freight startup Ontruck pulls in $10 million Series A led by Atomico and Idinvest Partners
  • On-demand delivery startup Jinn locates $10 million in further funding. Although London-based, Jinn was founded by Spaniards and Samaipata Ventures is one of their investors
  • Health startup Devicare raised €3 million
  • Mint Labs raised $3 million from American and Chinese investors
  • Car marketplace Carnovo raised €2 million from Antai Venture Builder and M4E
  • La Caixa and Racc to invest €1 million in Alpify
  • JoinUp Taxi raised €430,000 from Big Sur, Cabiedes & Partners and Fides
  • Muroexe raised funding from JME Ventures. Terms of the deal undisclosed

Startup exits 🎊

  • Sanitas acquired Spanish health startup Healthia
  • Italian startup Uala.it acquired a majority stake in Spanish beauty marketplace Bucmi
  • Barcelona-based PopPlaces has merged with German competitor Go-PopUp
  • Telefonica, though its German subsidiary Telefonica Next, acquired analytics startup Minodes
