- 3D packaging startup 3D Click raised €225,552 in funding through Startupxplore in a round led by Women Angels For Steam

- According to El Confidencial, Mediaset will buy football media company ElDesmarque for €10m. The Sevilla-based news site has revenues of €3.2 million and a profit of €1.2 million
- Banco Santander announced the acquisition of Albert, a mobile first invoicing platform out of the UK. Terms of the deal were not disclosed

- Mercadona announced that it will open a huge distribution centre in Getafe in preparation to launch its ecommerce platform in Madrid in the short term
- Car sharing companies that operate in Madrid will increase its fleet of cars by 30% in 2019. Car2go plans to offer its services in more areas outside of Madrid’s city centre and to incorporate four-person cars to its fleet. The company also announced last week that it’s going to increase prices
- According to Kippel01, Amazon plans to open its biggest distribution centre in Spain in Sevilla
- Mobile payments platform Bizum disclosed its 2018 figures: 2.5 million users, 13 million transactions completed for an average transaction value of €54
- Just Eat says that it has reached more than 2 million monthly active customers in Spain
